John, darling, this is pretty sick. You have a very odd sense of humor sometimes.

eee, you're rooming with the Boyer? Wow. You're brave, tall man.

Of course, this is coming from the girl rooming with Shema this year. TALK ABOUT BRAVE. ;)

*giggle*

But no, John, the cartoon is still sick. *Mother looks over my shoulder, thinking she's reading a regular family circus cartoon. When she finishes it she says "Good Lord, what are you reading?", "Boyer's blog." -Blink- -Blink- -Stare- "That young man is a bit of a freak, honey. Are you sure you want him to shoot the wedding?"* End scene. :)

Um, appreciation of this requires a dislike and/or weariness of Family Circus, which should have been pulled from papers years ago.

Well . . . it's still in the Kansas City Star . . . my brothers and sisters still read it in the FYI section, which Grandpa saves for us. (We won't buy that rag, thank you very much.) We have an old Family Circus cartoon laminated and hanging on our fridge. The little girl is saying to her brother, "Yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future, but today is a gift- that's why they call it the present."

*raising an eyebrow at you* Hating that kind of cartoon doesn't seem quite normal.

And ask yourself - "What would Alex do?" Because I guarantee you he and I are in the same boat on this one.
