WTF exactly... I tried to watch this but my computer would not let it load for some reason. It's probably better that I not watch it anyways. Why in the hell would The Holy Father and Curia give a rats ass about break dancing. How that has any relevence to the "Mission of The Church", I will never understand. When I see some of this goofy stuff going on in the Vatican, it makes me wonder if they were given a stupidity curse by a Voodoo priest, at one of those lovely Assisi gatherings. Hopefully Benedict will continue to kick some ass, exile a few more prelates like that Idiot Archbshp Michael Fitzgerald. Though I am all for bringing back Burnings. I can think of few things that would be more fun, than roasting a few heretic prelates, while roasting organic marshmallows to make yummy smores. Well hope you are having fun. Later AM+DG
Ok, John. Cheerful demogogy has its place, but......do you mind?I don't know the age or grade level of Mr. Giblon, which might excuse him to some extent. But he ought to be aware that people with serious reservations about the SSPX will and do read your blog and will be negatively influenced by his opinions. The SSPX is not a dark-ages spanish-inquisition organization, to use the popular image, and that's what his comments are making it look like. You might want to explain the situation to him.Just my two coppers.
On second thought, strike SSPX from the above message and replace with "traditionalist".I'm sending you an e-mail.
Giblon's 26. And I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing...Btw, what's eating you?
Well Evan, may I start off by saying, John Calvin is BAD..... Bad Bad Bad. So..... if you wish to be a puritan, and have a dour look on your face all the time, and not have any fun, then fine.(Personally I really like the clothes though, black goes with everything) But must you rain on everyones parade. Is the modernist establishment so concerned as to what I have to say? Are there so many questioning Catholics, unsure about Tradition that they are going to read this blog, and say "Oh dear what mean bitter people, those Rad Trads are"? NOthing I type here is going to have such a profound impact on anyones faith, and if it does, then well... That is their problem. It is kinda funny that the first two blogs I have ever posted, have already caused controversy. Frankly the SSPX does a very good job proving their worth to the church, with or without my help. They have helped to wake me up to the reality of my own sinfulness, and give an anicdote to Sin, that being TRUTH. Anyone who turns to them for pastoral care, in the current worldwide wilderness of heresy and liturgical abuse, would have the same experience. I don't need to bash modernism, even though I do frequently make fun of it. Modernism bashes itself on a regular basis. All it takes is one "mass" with "liturgical dancers" and some lesbo "nuns" with tambourines (many clad in Birkinstocks) singing Yahweh I know you are near, for it to be moved into the realm of the illigitimate. Just as with "Break Dancers" in the Vatican, it has no legitimacy. NONE... Nada... Zilch... Sorry that it offends some to point out that BS is BS. But the reality is, that I don't need to point it out, it is obvious on it's own, to even the most unlearned. I always have, and always will continue to pray for our Most Holy Father Benedict XVI, LONG MAY HE REIGN!!! Oremus Pro Pontifice! I Love our current Holy Father, and the house cleaning has not even just begun. That moron Fitzgerald was exiled weather or not people want to look at it that way, and his congregation was Disolved (Ha), well "merged" acctually, but same dif. I hope that Benedict has whatever idiot was responsible for the break dancing garbage exiled soon as well, after all doesn't Antartica need an Archbishop or two, those penguins need to be converted and Pronto. In fact maybe he can send 3/4 of the Curia there and they can elect themselves a penguin as an Antipope. I have really so desired to see a penguin wearing the Papal Tiara, on the Sedia Gestoria, with flabilii in tow. So Evan, back to you. I don't want to offend, and I am sorry if I have, Really. After all we are the Church Militant, and as in all Wars there will be collatral damage, I'm sorry that part of that had to be your delicate sensabilities. I will for John's sake refrain from using naughty language even though I bleeped it out in my post. St. Paul asked us to not use foul language, so I should follow that advice. However the sight of revolting acts taking place in hollowed places, may evoke Holy Rage in some people. I don't know if I would call my rage Holy or not, but it is certainly well warrented. Well, it is late I have had two beers and I need to work tomorrow. So I am going to Bed. John I hope you are doing well. Pardon again more poor grammer and spelling, it was all that dirty publik eduukations fault. I hope I don't get you in trouble speaking my mind. Ohhhh the Thought Police are Watching You ohhhhhhhh... Evan, God Bless and for heavens sake Chill Out. You need to go read Characters of The Inquisition by Walsh. Those guys were a lot more blunt than I could ever hope to be in their dealings. But thanks for the Heads Up about the Thought Police, gota watch out for those guys. Later
Oh, don't worry about my delicate sensibilities. They can take it.
That is good, us Catholics are supposed to be thick skinned. By the way speaking of thick skin... Why would associating the Inquisition with SSPX be a bad thing? The Spanish Inquisition is one of the most misunderstood, and most glorious periods of church history. It did an immense good for the church. Just becuase a few loony protestant historians have painted it as some "Dark Period" does not mean that is really what it was. I am very proud of the Inquisition period of the church. It is too bad that the Church no loger wields the temporal authority to start one in this day and age. It is high time for another Thomas De Torquemada for our era. While they are at it they need to bring back the Index.
